Week 70 Bible Reading: Genesis 1:24–31
Earth Caretakers
Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! - Genesis 1:31
Have you ever made something that you were extremely proud of—like an art project, a science experiment, or even a song you wrote?
When God created the world, He felt just like that. God was so proud of all He had made He said everything was good. And He really meant everything.
Everything God made gave His heart joy.
What made God proudest of all? That would be all of us! He made humans special—like Him. The Bible says, “God created human beings in his own image” (Genesis 1:27). Because we are like Him, He gave us the huge responsibility of taking care of the earth and everything in it—the oceans, rivers, and lakes; the forests and farmlands; and all the animals too!
Let’s each do our part in protecting the world around us.
