Not My Worry
Do you ever worry? Well, maybe you can relate to the man who worried about everything. One day, everything changed for him. His friends noticed he was relaxed, making jokes, even whistling! “What happened?” his friends asked him, amazed.
He said, “I’m paying someone else to do my worrying for me.” “How much do you pay him?” they asked.
“Two thousand dollars a week,” he replied.
“Wow! How can you afford that?”
“I can’t,” he said, “but that’s his worry.”
Need someone to give your worries to?
The Bible tells us God wants to carry our worries: “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you” (Psalm 55:22). As someone who hung each star in the sky, He has the power and wisdom to hold even our biggest problem.
So, instead of worrying, plop that burden right down on God. The Creator of the world can hold you—and all your problems—safely in His strong arms!
