Week 50 Bible Reading: Psalm 139:13–16
Little Babies
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. - Psalm 139:13 (NIV)
What is it about babies that makes us smile? Maybe they make us smile because we’re in awe of a new life—so precious, tiny, and full of promise. Seeing a baby can help us remember our awesome God who loves us so much He gave us life. “For you created my inmost being,” the psalmist said. “You knit me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13 NIV).
Not only does God give us physical life, but, when we begin a relationship with Jesus, we are reborn! We’re like newborn babies, spiritually. God also promises that we will live forever and even receive new and better bodies when Jesus comes back!
Life now and forever is definitely something to celebrate!
