The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. - 1 Corinthians 12:12
Did you know that your liver has a superpower? If it’s damaged or cut, this incredible organ grows back. Gross (and kind of cool), right? Now, likely, you didn’t wake up this morning thinking about your liver, but daily it cleans out poisons from your body. Your body depends on your liver—along with all your other organs—to survive.
The Bible compares the human body to the church. As your human body has different parts—each working together to keep you in great shape—your church needs each person in it to make it healthy too.
So, you may be asking, What does this mean for me? Just this: your church can’t run without you. Your church needs your voice and your gifts to be healthy and strong.
